PROJECT INFORMATION

We live in prosperous cities. We build, we expand. We construct high-rises and factories, striving not only to survive, but to earn more and build more. But behind all this prosperity, is there something we have failed to notice, or even chosen to ignore, something that has become invisible?

This film explores the beauty, the preciousness, and the inherent power of nature. As humans, part of the natural world, have our actions been attempting to surpass or defy nature itself? The film juxtaposes scenes of urban development and environmental pollution, revealing the tension and damage between the human-made city and the natural environment.

Through seemingly small and kind actions—picking up trash, cleaning mountains and coastlines, we present a subtle yet ironic reflection: Do these minor acts stand a chance against the massive forces of development and destruction? Are they meaningful, or merely symbolic?

What else can we do, beyond picking up garbage? And as members of the architecture profession, are we only capable of picking up trash? Or do we have the responsibility and ability to create spaces that respect, respond to, and regenerate the natural world?
